Tampa area home sales, median prices rose in February
TAMPA — Home sales in the Tampa Bay metro area and the median price for those homes were both up in February, with fewer homeowners under water on their mortgages, new reports show.
Home sales in the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater metropolitan statistical area went up 28.6 percent in February compared to 2014 and the median home price in February was $154,000, up 4.4 percent over February 2014, according to Florida Realtors, which released its monthly residential market report Monday.
